Chat Rules

From Transsexual Support

1. Remember #transsexual_support is primarily for support related topics.
2. Weapons talk is /*NOT*/ Allowed in the main channel. This is a /*ZERO TOLERANCE*/ policy & after first warning will lead to a 30 day ban
3. Be respectful of others. This is not a normal chat room, but a support group. Please try to remember that.
4. Don't pick fights. If you want to fight with someone, do it in a private message.
5. If you are a new member, DON'T private message anyone without asking in the chat room first. Once you settle in and get to know the people, you don't have to do this, but it is polite to ask first.
6. NEVER, EVER refer to someone intentionally by the improper pronoun. Don't think that you can call an MtF (male to female transsexual) 'he' just because you're not fond of her. Do this and you will be removed.
7. Do NOT post logs or reports of stuff from the channel outside of it. This chat is a SAFE place, and things said here are confidential. If you post a log from our chat on the web or in another chat room without permission from an administrator AND all people involved in the log, you will be banned.
8. Occasionally arguments will flare up, despite the best of intentions. When this happens, often an op (administrator) will order that the conversation of that topic halt immediately. If this happens, halt the conversation IMMEDIATELY. Don't try to get the last word. If you like, you may continue your conversation in private.
9. Political and religious discussions have a tendency to lead to conflict. The ops (administrators) may decide to halt such conversations BEFORE they become fights. Do what the ops say.
10. Sometimes certain topics trigger others... Try to avoid topics you know trigger others. This isn't a rule, but a request. This is a support group, and we must be respectful of others' limits.
11. Don't flood the chat room (flooding is repeating something many times to get attention or annoy others, or pasting many lines at once into the chat room). This disturbs everyone and will get you the wrong kind of attention.
12. When an op (administrator) tells you something, pay attention. They have the ability and the right to remove you if they feel it is necessary (a rare occurrence).
13. Do not post pictures of other TS's in the chat without CLEAR permission.
14. Do not run bots in the channel.

17. DON'T come here looking for sex or a spouse. This is a SUPPORT channel, not a cyber-sex channel. If you come in looking for that, you will be removed and banned permanently
